VOSA awards test equipment contract to BM Autoteknik A/S |

The Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA) has awarded BM AUTOTEKNIK A/S the contract to supply Vehicle Testing Equipment, and Vehicle Inspection Pits at VOSA Goods Vehicle Testing Stations throughout Great Britain.
The contract was signed on 18th of July 2006; work has already commenced on the first refurbishment at Weedon in Northamptonshire.
After an EU tendering process BM Autoteknik A/S won the VOSA contract to upgrade VOSA test lanes with BM12200 Roller Brake Testers, BM53000 Hydraulic Wheel Play Detectors and BM74000 Hydraulic Load Simulators.
In addition, BM Autoteknik A/S will supply Diesel Smoke Meters, Combined Emission testers, hand held Speed Limit Testers and operator/driver Communication Systems. The contract also includes the supply of a full service package including ongoing servicing and calibration over a 10-year period.

BM Autoteknik A/S is the supplier to VOSA of Mobile Roller Brake Testers, that are used by VOSA in their enforcement programme. The units are supplied via our UK distributor, Gemco Equipment Ltd, in Northampton. BM have supplied VOSA with six units of BM20200 Mobile Roller Brake Testers. The equipment includes specially BM designed trailers used to transport the brake testers.

BM Autoteknik A/S have supplied the UK Ministry of Defence with ten units of the Mobile Roller Brake Testers, BM20200, that are used by the UK MOD in various countries around the world. Some of the BM20200 Mobile Roller Brake Testers are supplied with specially BM designed trailers, and others are supplied with BM modified “flattracks”, also known as DROPS, that are used for transporting both the Roller Brake Tester and the Generator for powering the units in the field. In partnership with our UK distributor, Gemco Equipment Ltd, BM Autoteknik A/S have for many years supplied BM12200 brake testers to Designated Premises and Repair workshops throughout the UK. Additionally BM have supplied BM brake testers for Class IV and VII MOT bays since 1988 and have recently obtained approval of the BM4010 class IV ATL brake tester and BM9010 class IV and VII ATL brake tester.
