The BM11200 is an in-ground roller brake tester for test of Light and Heavy vehicles.
The BM11200 roller brake tester has been developed based on more than 45 years of expertise and experience in the design and manufacture of brake testing equipment.
Across many markets, there is an increasing trend towards testing heavy vehicles under fully laden conditions. In some countries, test procedures also require the parking brake to be fully applied before the brake tester is started.
These operating conditions place exceptionally high mechanical loads on the brake tester and demand a robust design incorporating durable components capable of withstanding such stresses throughout the equipment’s service life.
Like all BM brake testers designed for heavy vehicles, the BM11200 is specifically engineered to meet these demanding test requirements, ensuring reliable performance, long-term durability, and consistent testing accuracy throughout its operational lifetime.
The BM11200 offers a wide range of options, enabling the brake tester to be configured to meet individual customer requirements and specific operational needs. This flexibility allows each installation to be tailored for optimal performance, efficiency, and compliance with local testing regulations.
The BM112000 can be installed into other model and make brake tester holes without need of expensive civil work, and with a minimum of downtime.
ADVANTAGES and OPTIONS
Robust and long lasting:
Manufactured from high-quality steel components, with all major structural parts hot-dip galvanized for maximum corrosion protection and durability.
Incorporates an integrated motor and gearbox assembly, two main rollers, and a spring-loaded sensor roller, all mounted within a robust galvanized steel frame.
Roller wear surfaces are manufactured from welded steel mesh, providing exceptional durability, excellent tyre grip, and highly accurate measurement results throughout the service life of the tester.
All gaps and pinch points have been minimized to enhance operator safety and reduce the risk of injury.
The cover plates surrounding the roller set are designed with smooth, angled surfaces to minimize the risk of tyre damage during testing.
Available in a basic configuration while retaining the flexibility for future upgrades, allowing additional features and options to be added as operational requirements evolve.
Easy to use with BM software:
Integrated step-by-step user guide.
Advanced graphics printout.
Diagnostic printout with or without connection to PC/Notebook.
Calculation of test results according to the requirements of many national authorities.
The display can be mounted either on the wall, saving floor space, or on floor column devices, that are designed so equipment is protected even when floor is cleaned with chemicals. It can also be mounted on a wheel trolley making it easy to move around.
Large chain wheels reduces required maintenance of chains and increases the life of gears, motors and other components.
Installation
Hot galvanized subframes to be concreted into the ground before the brake tester is installed into these subframes.
The subframes ensures easier planning and implementation of installation as well as correct alignment of the brake tester during concreting.
Can be installed both indoor and outdoor in most environments from -30ºC to 60°C and humidity up to 95.
Optional split bed installation over an inspection pit.
Applications
Normal workshops performing repair of any light or heavy vehicle.
Preferred model by vehicle inspection bodies, as it can be configured for very high throughput and handle continuous tests of full laden axles.
Used by various authorities at motorway lay-by stations as part of enforcement schemes.
Selected by some of the most prestigious vehicle inspection companies worldwide.
